Simone Youngblood, owner of SimonesOasis.Org, is a poet from Sacramento. In September of 2008, she released her first collection of poems entitled "The Oasis of My Nation." (See Simone's Oasis for details). She received her M.A. in English/Creative Writing in the Spring of 2009.Thanks for visiting!

Her first collection of poems, The Oasis of My Nation, was released in September 2008. This collection contains ten small poems meditate on words in the construction of self. Titles in this collection include, "A pink is dying," "She is eaten by flies" and "Nicodemus."
Her second collection of poems is expected to be released Summer 2010.
